Alison van Reeken
Alison has a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University and a Diploma of Performance Studies (Theatre) WA Academy of Performing Arts.
Between 1999 and 2003 Alison resided in Sydney and performed in a variety of theatre productions including A Midsummer Nights Dream (Hunter Valley Theatre Company), Five Stories High for the Two Up Season of the Sydney Festival (The Darlinghurst Theatre), Chambres (Belvoir Street), Othello (Shakespeare SBW Independent Theatre) plus many others.
Returning to Perth in 2004 Alison has worked for Red Ryder Theatre Company in A Moment on the Lips, Charitable Intent (Perth Theatre Company), Twelfth Night (Class Act), She Told Me So (Renstar), The Crucible (Black Swan Theatre Company).
Alison produced The Mozart Faction, Looming the Memory and Dealer’s Choice.
Film credits include All The Way, The People the World Forgot and television credits include Murder Call, Water Rats and All Saints.
Alison won the 2006 Equity Guild Award Best Supporting Actress for The Carnivores.
