Arielle Gray

Arielle Gray graduated in 2005 with a BA (Contemporary Performance), which was jointly delivered by the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and School of Contemporary Arts (SOCA).

Her theatre credits include co-creating The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer (Weeping Spoon Productions) and producing and performing in Duck, Duck, Goose! (Gray Ruby Productions, Winner ‘Member’s Choice’ 2008 The Blue Room Awards).

As a performer, Arielle has appeared in The Dark Room and The Laramie Project, for which she received a nomination for Best Newcomer at the 2007 Actors Equity Guild Awards (Black Swan State Theatre Company); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare WA); Hope is the Saddest (Brisbane Festival Under the Radar’, winner ‘Best Production’ 2007 The Blue Room Awards) and Zen’s Red Mouth (Winner ‘Member’s Choice’ 2006 The Blue Room Awards) both for Mythophobic Productions; Short Four Play – The Benefit of Hindsight (Longwood Productions); The Love Pirate and Specks in the Black (Weeping Spoon Productions).

Arielle was in Black Swan State Theatre Company’s 2009 HotBed program and performed in The Darkroom by Angela Betzien and Pool [No Water] by Mark Ravenhill, both at PICA. She also produced and performed in a solo show called Nobody cares but you, written and directed by Luke Milton, at The Blue Room in October. Arielle has completed an one month intensive in physical theatre course at The Dell’arte International School of Physical Theatre in Northern California. She is a member of The Big HOO HAA improvised comedy group, based in Perth.

Arielle made her film debut in the Australian movie Little Sparrows.
